Upcoming Fundraisers:

Smucker Gardens Mum Fundraiser - 9" Mums (variety of colors) are being sold to help offset Fall Registration Fees and support the Halifax Girls Softball League. Each 9" Mum will be sold for $11.00. For each plant sold, $2.50 will go towards the player's registration. Any registration fee that is not covered by the fundraiser is to be paid by the player's family. For example: A player sells 10 items (profit is $2.50/item * 10 items = $25.00), therefore the registration fee would be paid in full. If the player sold 5 items (profit is $2.50/item * 5 items = $12.50) then the player's family is responsible for the remaining $12.50 ($25 registration - $12.50 fundraiser profit = $12.50 not covered by the fundraiser). Mum order form can be found HERE. Order forms & money are due Friday, September 4. Pick-up will be Saturday, September 19th from 9:00 - 11:00 am at Smucker Gardens in Millersburg, PA.
HGSL Online Apparel store - (June 28 - August 1) If you are interested in purchasing some HGSL apparel for your player, yourself, or family members, please visit OUR HGSL STORE. Orders will take about 3 weeks to fulfill AFTER the store closes (August 1).

Proceeds from these fundraisers will be used towards league expenses (field and team equipment, supplies, upgrades, ...etc.). A major financial contributor to our league funds is our concession stand. In 2026, we are going to focus our efforts on concession stand repairs. The priorities include a new roof, siding, new garage doors, and some shelving for better organization. We also need to a dedicated electrical outlet for our new fryer so that we can continue to offer delicious food. We would like to dedicate the majority of the gun raffle profits to these repairs. Equipment: Dick's Sporting Goods Coupons (In-store only & used throughout 2026)

ALL HGSL players are REQUIRED to wear a fielding mask (plastic or metal) at all times while playing on the field.
Glove
Batting helmets MUST have a face mask attached to the helmet.*
Bat*
Black softball/baseball pants
Cleats
High socks (most likely black but coaches may ask for a different color)
It is nice for players to have their own bag to put all of their gear into at the end of practice/games so that it does not get lost.

* HGSL will provide a jersey for each player* (If your daughter played in the Spring 2026 season, she will reuse the same jersey.)

*Most girls have their own helmet and bat but we do have some extras in the equipment shed.

We have some (smaller sized) used equipment that was donated if anyone would like to look at the equipment prior to purchasing new equipment, please reach out to HGSL on facebook or via email.
